Bus Lines
Bus lines are wires on the motherboard that give information to various chips. The bus lines all have a certain amount of data that can be transmitted across them. Bus lines can be reffered to as local bus, adress bus, buses or data bus.
The most important bus is called the frontside bus. The frontside bus connects the CPU to the other chips on the motherboard.
