CDs, DVDs and USBs
CD is an abbreviation for compact disc. A CD holds digital information and is read-only. When they first became commercial, they had a larger capacity than a computer hard drive.

DVD is an abbreviation for digital video disc. There are lots of types of DVD players. Their very similer to CDs but have more storage capacity.

USB is an abbrivation for Universal Serial Bus. A USB port are very common and can be found not only on computers but lots of other electronic devices. There are USB cables when connect a device to the computer through the port. Such as when you connect a headset to the USB slot. A USB stick transfers information to and fro the device via the USB port.
